Project Hindmarsh is heading to Rainbow! We aim to restore a section of the Rainbow Rise, a lunette west of town which was once covered in wildflowers and whose arc of colour in spring is said to have given the town its name.

The planting weekend will be held over the 8/9 July with Saturday 8 July the main planting day. Volunteers are needed to help us plant 7,000 trees, shrubs, wildflowers and grasses on the southern edge of the rise. Registrations for the weekend are open via the following Eventbrite link.

 Registrations for the Project Hindmarsh 2023 planting weekend are now open. The planting weekend will be held from Friday 7 July to Sunday 9 July, at the Rainbow Recreation Reserve, Swinbourne Ave, Rainbow.

We aim to plant 7,000 trees, shrubs, herbs and grasses at the Rainbow Rise, west of town. The main planting day will be Saturday, 8 July. If you love the outdoors, mucking in, getting your hands dirty and making a difference, we’d love you to join us.
